Volunteer Service Expedition - Orosa River Clinic (9d/9n)

Description:  A volunteer trip to benefit Project Amazonas. Volunteers will work at maintenance and upgrading of the Orosa Clinic installation on the Orosa River. Volunteers will be expected to work ~5 hours daily, with the remaining time free for other activities at the nearby Madre Selva Biological Station (where they will be housed) or in nearby communities.  

Cost:  $1385 (Paid directly to Project Amazonas:  $700 tax-deductible for US tax-payers). Includes all transport, lodging at the Madre Selva Biological Station, meals, airport reception and drop-off in Iquitos, Peru. Volunteers should plan to arrive on 5 November (1-night hotel in Iquitos included) or on an early flight on 6 November, and can  depart any time late afternoon or evening on 14 November. 

Itinerary: Depart Iquitos at 10 AM on 6 November 2018, reaching Madre Selva Biological Station on the Orosa River by 3-3:30 PM. Return to Iquitos by 1 PM on 14 November.
