Description: Join us for ten nights in the Amazon jungle at two field stations (Santa Cruz Forest Reserve and the Madre Selva Biological Station) on a tour designed for reptile and amphibian photography. Matt Cage and Mike Pingleton will guide the tour. Trips average over 100 species of reptiles and amphibians. You have a chance of seeing a bushmaster (Lachesis muta), and Emerald Tree Boa (Corallus batesii), and Amazon Harlequin Toad (Atelopus spumarius) and SO much more - among them pink and gray river dolphins, marmosets and other small mammals, numerous birds and fantastic arthropods. You will be able to hike on your own or with a guide day and night and see incredible species in their native habitat. Please see the MT Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MTAmazonExpeditions/) or Matt Cage’s website (www.cages.smugmug.com) for more information.
