ESPERANZA RIVERBOAT AND/OR SPEEDBOATS: MADRE SELVA BIOLOGICAL STATION & SANTA CRUZ FOREST RESERVE

Since 1994 and in coordination with our charity partner, Project Amazonas; we've hosted dozens of academic groups and many hundreds of students in the Peruvian Amazon. Middle school, high school, university and graduate level students all have the same range of responses: "Life-changing", "incredible", "the toughest thing I've ever done", "eye-opening", and very frequently, "I'm coming back!" Many students keep in touch for years, and yes, they do come back - as volunteers, graduate students, researchers, and even as teachers with their own students in tow.

Favorite overheard comment after a visit to a rural Amazonian school: "I'll never complain about my school again!"

Bringing a course to the Peruvian Amazon sounds like a daunting challenge, and it does require a lot of work, but we work with you to make it as easy as possible. We handle ALL the arrangements in Peru: ground and river transportation, hotels and other lodging, all meals, interpreters, guides, local experts etc. We can even arrange a medical doctor to accompany your group if you wish. All you need to do is work with your school, students and parents...a tall enough order as it is! We develop a budget based on the number of students and length of the trip, with accompanying faculty costs included in the per-student rate.  We are always happy to prepare a quote and detailed itinerary, and will work closely with you to ensure that the experience is all that you want for your students and more.

Do we have references? Of course! Click on some of our Academic Clients and we'll be happy to put you in contact.
